It’s that time of year again. The END of the year time of year. And that means you should be thinking about registering for our New Orleans convention and applying its cost to this year’s business expenses!

It’s already December 18. Christmas will be here in a week. The New Year will be here in two weeks. So you don’t have much time.

New Orleans convention details

Below are some of the details regarding the New Orleans convention

• The dates of the National Convention are Thursday, March 28, and Friday, March 29.
• The site will be the Sheraton New Orleans.
• The cost of Early Bird Registration is just $449 per person.
• Our room rate for the Sheraton New Orleans will be $189 per night.
• The main speaker is Jon Bartos of Global Performance Search.

It has been nearly 20 years since we’ve been to the city of New Orleans for one of our conventions. This is a great destination for any Network member who wants to grow their business in 2019, especially if you’ve never been there before.

This is a chance for you to “kill two birds with one stone.” (Not literally. That would be cruel.) No, I’m talking about visiting a great city while at the same time meeting with other Network recruiters, sharing hot job orders and candidates, and building trading partner relationships.

Not only that, but Jon Bartos of Global Performance Search is the main speaker. Jon is one of the most truested and respected names in the recruiting industry. He will have a TON of valuable content designed to help you maximize both your recruiting desk and also your agency. We’re excited about the sessions that he has planned for us.

And we’re excited about YOU joining us for our New Orleans convention! Early Bird Registration is now underway for the convention. If you register now, not only can you apply the event to this year’s expenses, but you’ll also pay only $449 per person. As you might expect, the price will rise for the Regular Registration and Late Registration periods.

Effective January 1, 2019, Top Echelon Contracting’ Frequent Contract Placer (FCP) Program is being eliminated and replaced with the Contract Achievement Award (CAA).  The CAA will offer three cash awards based on the total recruiter income earned per calendar year.

The three CAA awards are listed below:

• 1st Place  – $15,000 Award
• 2nd Place – $10,000 Award
• 3rd Place – $5,000 Award

To be eligible to participate in the CAA:

1. Your Agency must be a Preferred Member of Top Echelon Network.
2. Your Agency needs to earn a minimum of $200,000 in contract income (cash in) per calendar year.

The Program will run from January 1st through December 31st of any given year. On January 1st of each year, the previous balances will be “zeroed out” and not carried forward to the following year.

We’ll soon by announcing that Early Bird Registration for the 2019 National Convention is available. In the spirit of recruiter networking, though, I’d like to announce that there will another of our recruiter networking events early next year.

That event is the Illinois-Wisconsin Regional Core Group meeting!

Like the other meetings of this type in Top Echelon Network, this is a one-day event that will focus on informal networking opportunities. And of course, what informal networking opportunity would not be made better by food? There’s nothing better than meeting other recruiters and “breaking bread” together. That’s how you form great split recruiting partner relationships!

Remember, there are four main types of core groups in Top Echelon’s recruiting network:

1. Traditional Core Groups

These are the ones you form yourself by building relationships with other Network recruiters. They typically involve recruiters that work in the same industry and niche that you do.

2. Non-Traditional Core Groups

These are also ones that you form yourself by building relationships with other Network recruiters. However, they’re not necessarily comprised of recruiters that work in the same areas that you do. Instead, they’re usually more related to the business side of recruiting or other general recruiting-related topics.

3. Regional Core Groups

These are the ones that involve recruiters meeting face-to-face based upon geographic location.

4. Virtual Core Groups

During these meetings, Network recruiters share hot job orders and candidates during teleconference calls. They also share information about the activity they’re seeing and ideas for increased production.
