There have been a lot of newer TE Network members making their first Network split placement so far in 2025 . . . and we have three more!

Yes, that’s right. Congratulations are in order for Joseph Nazoa of SERCHTECK, Jon Missirlian of Orion Placement, and Philip Ringrow of Human Capital Ventures. All three of these recruiters recently completed their first split placement in TE Network.

But that’s not all. We have even more split placements listed below, made by Network members of varying TE tenures. Because it doesn’t matter who you are or how long you’ve been a recruiter OR been a TE Network member: placements make everything better.

As a friendly neighborhood reminder, here is the information that we publish with our placements:

  • Names of the trading partners involved (with their profile photos, when available)
  • Job title
  • Overall placement fee (before TE Network’s 6% brokerage fee, of course)
  • Fee percentage

Please note that the placements listed below reflect deals finalized in TE Network for the period from April 7 through April 20, 2025.

Remember, if you don’t want information related to your split placements published in The Pinnacle, please send an email to marketing@topechelon.com to that effect.

Congratulations to everybody below for the split placements they made in TE Network!

In the world of agency recruiting, time and bandwidth are always in short supply. You’ve got hot job orders you can’t fill fast enough, or stellar candidates you can’t seem to place. The result? Missed revenue and frustrated clients.

TE Network was built to solve this exact problem. As a vetted split placement community for contingency-based recruiting firms, we offer recruiters the ability to leverage trusted partnerships to make more placements—faster and more profitably.

But how do you actually make split placements in TE Network? Whether you’re new to split deals or looking to scale your results, this step-by-step guide will walk you through the process.

And you’re already ahead of the game . . . because you’re already a TE Network member!

Step 1: Add Your Jobs and Candidates

Now that you’re a member, it’s time to contribute. TE Network thrives on participation, and the more you share, the more opportunities you create—for yourself and others.

Posting Jobs:

Through TE’s online platform, you can post jobs directly to the network. These jobs are visible to other members who may have qualified candidates to submit.

  • Jobs automatically expire after 90 days, which keeps the system full of fresh, active openings.

  • On average, 900 new job orders are added to the network every month—so there’s always something new to explore.

Uploading Candidates:

Have a great candidate but no fitting job order? Upload them to the Network!

  • You can upload directly from your ATS (especially seamless if you’re using CATS).

  • Decide if you want to share candidates selectively or broadly.

  • You retain full control over visibility and engagement—others can request your candidate, but only if they have a relevant job shared to the network.

  • As of now, TE Network contains over eight (8) million candidate profiles, and that number is growing daily.

Step 2: Search the Network

Here’s where the magic happens. TE Network’s database allows you to search for jobs and candidates in real time, using powerful filters and Boolean logic.

Finding Jobs:

Looking for split opportunities where you can submit candidates? You can:

  • Run filtered searches by keyword, location, salary range, or industry (e.g., manufacturing, pharma, IT).

  • Preview job descriptions and determine if you have someone who fits.

  • Reach out to the job order recruiter before submitting—this is highly encouraged and often expected.

  • Pro tip: TE Network strongly encourages recruiters to call each other. Building relationships is the backbone of a successful split placement practice.

Finding Candidates:

If you’re overloaded with job orders and need help filling roles, the candidate database is your best friend.

  • Search by industry, job title, skills, location, or recency (e.g., candidates added in the last 30, 90, or 365 days).

  • Once you find a promising match, request access—but remember, you must have your job order posted to the network in order to make the request.

When the candidate’s recruiter approves your request, you’ll get access to their full resume. From there, you can start the recruiting process just as you would with your own candidate.

Step 3: Communicate Like a Partner

Technology is great, but real success in TE Network comes from the relationships you build.

Before you click “submit” on that perfect resume, pick up the phone. That initial call does more than just introduce you—it lays the foundation for a strong working relationship.

On that call, you should:

  • Ask how your partner likes to communicate (email, phone, ATS updates, etc.)

  • Clarify what the hiring manager is really looking for

  • Set expectations around timing, feedback, and candidate ownership

  • Discuss how you’ll handle updates, interviews, and closing offers

Remember: this isn’t just a deal—it’s a partnership. The more clarity and rapport you build up front, the smoother the placement process will go.

Step 4: Make the Placement—and Get Paid

Let’s say your candidate nails the interviews and gets hired. What happens next?

Here’s how the money flows:

  1. The job recruiter collects the full fee from the client (typically 20–25% of the candidate’s first-year salary).

  2. That recruiter then pays:

    • 47% to you, the candidate recruiter

    • Keeps 47% for themselves

    • Sends 6% to Top Echelon as the brokerage fee

    • The payment structure is simple, transparent, and universally followed across the network.

What If There’s a Dispute?

TE Network has a clearly defined set of policies and procedures to guide how recruiters interact. These policies cover everything from:

  • Candidate submissions

  • Job updates

  • Communication expectations

  • Payment timelines

If there’s ever a disagreement, TE Network’s ethics board steps in to mediate and resolve the issue based on documented rules. That means you’re never left hanging, and there’s always a fair, objective process in place to protect your work and reputation.

Relationships and Integrity

Making split placements in TE Network isn’t just about sharing resumes—it’s about building relationships, following processes, and working with integrity.

Once you’re inside, the opportunities are real—and the results are measurable. With fresh jobs, millions of candidates, and a trusted partner network, you can:

  • Increase your fill rate

  • Say “yes” to more clients

  • Earn more per desk

  • Build long-term partnerships that pay off again and again

This step-by-step approach to split placements in TE Network could help you make more placements not just this year, but every year.

This week in The Pinnacle Newsletter Blog, I’ll be addressing the next factor for achieving success within Top Echelon’s recruiter network as an exporter. That factor is creating Job Alerts properly.

Top Echelon Network Membership Development Coordinator Drea Codispoti, CERS

Drea Codispoti, CPC/CERS

With that being said, the first question you should ask yourself in regards to this topic is, “Do I check the Job Alerts?” If you don’t, then they won’t be of much use to you.

The second question you should ask is, “Have I set up my Job Alerts properly, to bring me the desired results?

The rule of thumb is simplicity. With that in mind, below are some recommended fields to use:

  • Search name (required)
  • A FEW keywords or a simple Boolean string
  • Major discipline codes

The power in Top Echelon Job Alerts

However, it doesn’t stop there. Neither do the questions, either, because below are yet more questions you should ask yourself:

1. What are my specialties?

2. What are my strengths?

3. What types of candidates do I have in my database?

Alerts can be a powerful tool for members of TE Network.

For some recruiters, they’re very powerful. These recruiters use them extensively and make more placements every single year because of them.

If you’re not maximizing the power of Job Alerts on your own recruiting desk, then follow the tips listed above. Not only that, but the Top Echelon Help Center is also filled with articles about this topic.

In fact, here is a comprehensive Help Center article about setting up Network Job Alerts.

You can also contact me by calling 330.595.1742 or by sending an email to drea@topechelon.com. We’ll discuss how creating Job Alerts properly can bring more value to your TE Network membership.

Happy hunting!
